Overview

  • Tier One Technologies has an immediate need for a PL/SQL Developer specializing in Oracle Forms & Reports to support our US Government client.
  • This will be a 100% remote Contract-to-Hire position.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise and direction in the development and/or modification of computer-based scientific, technical, and business software systems.
  • Use expertise to design, develop, code, test, and debug software.
  • Work with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives.
  • Provide analytical support and technical advice during the conceptualization, development, and implementation phases.
  • Provide basic design, build or maintenance of software, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools and digital media.
  • Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct problems.
  • Evaluate code to ensure it is valid, meets industry standards and is compatible with devices or operation systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required.
  • 5+ years of Oracle related experience required.
  • Solid PL/SQL experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle DBMS 12c or higher.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Forms & Reports.
  • Oracle APEX experience is a PLUS.
  • Prior experience working with Agile Methodology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be a US Citizen (no dual citizenship).
  • Must be to obtain DoD Public Trust clearance.
  • Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
  • Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last 5 years. Military Service excluded.
