Overview
- Tier One Technologies is looking for an IT Asset Visibility/ Security Engineer & Tanium Administrator to support our US Government client.
- This hybrid contract-to-hire position will be located in Falls Church, VA.
- SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.
Responsibilities
- Implement corporate cybersecurity and IT asset lifecycle management strategies to protect the organization’s digital network, connected assets, hosted applications, data, and users within the IT environment.
- Support business, financial, and retail operations.
- Administer and maintain the company’s Tanium environment, including infrastructure, applications, and user access, supporting a heterogeneous network of over 100,000 end-user and server systems.
- Guide the design and implementation of secure solutions and services across our business and IT support areas.
- Provide security architecture across a variety of applications or domains, including cloud computing, and assigned to project/initiatives of large size, complexity, and risk.
- Create successful configuration and implementation of security solutions to reduce risk.
- Develop actionable security blueprints, principles, models, designs, standards, and guidelines to ensure information technology architecture and support is consistent, usable, secure, and adds value to the business.
Qualifications
- A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field, then 4 additional years of related experience
- 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity.
- Expertise in asset visibility solutions toward IT hardware and software asset management security efforts.
- Extensive experience in IT asset lifecycle management, supporting both IT operations and security initiatives, including OS patching, application maintenance, vulnerability management, and security event investigation.
- Proven, enterprise-level experience as a Tanium Administrator, along with Tanium certification.
- Possession of one or more preferred certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, RHCE, CPTE, or CEH.
- Prior experience with Armis Centrix, Splunk, Windows and Linux system administration, and the use of AI tools for data analysis and business process improvement is desirable.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, ability to build & maintain schedules and step-by-step action plans.
- Must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
- Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks.
- Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
- Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members).
