Overview
- Tier One Technologies is looking for an Operational Technology (OT) Asset Visibility/ Security Engineer & Database Developer to support our US Government client.
- This on-site contract-to-hire position will be located in Merrifield, VA.
- SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.
Responsibilities
- Implement the company’s cybersecurity strategies to protect the digital network, connected assets, hosted applications, data, and employees within the Operational Technology (OT) environment supporting critical systems.
- Lead the ongoing development and management of a proprietary database system that tracks asset details of proprietary systems, enabling automation for identifying assets within the environment.
- Develop and interpret flowcharts, and create, manage, and maintain schedules and step-by-step action plans.
Qualifications
- A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual’s degree is not in the applicable field, then 4 additional years of related experience is required.
- 8+ years of OT security experience, applying asset visibility solutions to OT hardware and software asset management, supporting both operations and security functions, including network access control, USB device control, vulnerability management, and security event investigations.
- Proven track record of implementing and maintaining proprietary database instances and leveraging them for automation initiatives.
- Required certifications: Forescout CounterAct Administrator and Forescout Engineer.
- Possess one of the following certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, RHCE, CPTE, or CEH.
- Strong ability to build positive influence with peer organizations and key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks.
- Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent US Resident – Green Card holder.
- Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
- Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last 5 years. Military Service excluded.
