Overview

  • Tier One Technologies is seeking a Data Solutions AI Architect to support our US Government client.
  • This hybrid contract-to-hire position will be located in Arlington, VA.
  • The work schedule for this position will be an average of 32 hours/week.
  • SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

Responsibilities

  • Function as the primary technical architect for data warehousing projects to solve business intelligence challenges.
  • Manage QA functions.
  • Develop unit, systems, and integration test plans and manage execution.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Must have expertise as both a solutions architect and AI architect.
  • 3+ years of experience with Azure ETL processing.
  • 3+ years of experience utilizing Data Warehousing methodologies and processes.
  • Possess deep technical expertise in database design, ETL (OWB/ODI), reporting, and analytics.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of dimensional modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Databricks.
  • Proficiency in creating PL/SQL packages.
  • Full SDLC and Data Modeling experience.
  • Ability to create both logical and physical data models.
  • Ability to tune databases for maximum performance.
  • Experience in Data Preparation: Data Profiling, Data Cleansing, and Data Auditing.
  • Ability to work with Business Analysts to create functional specifications and data.
  • Manage QA functions.
  • Previous consulting experience utilizing an Agile delivery methodology.
  • Develop unit, systems, and integration test plans and manage execution.
  • Ability to write technical and end-user system documentation.
  • Experience transforming logical business requirements into appropriate schemas and models.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate moderate to highly complex information systems by being able to interpret such devices as Entity Relation Diagrams, data dictionaries, record layouts, and logic flow diagrams.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
  • Must be a US Citizen or have US Permanent Residence status (Green Card).
  • Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years and have not traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in the last 5 years.
