Overview
- Tier One Technologies is looking for OpenText/Documentum Tech Lead-SME to support our US Government client.
- This will be a 100% remote Contract-to-Hire position.
- SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
- Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
- Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
- Evaluate existing software solutions to identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee architectural approaches from conception to installation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 8-12 years of IT-related professional experience.
- SME level of knowledge in OpenText Documentum Software, Apache Tomcat Environment and Linux/UNIX OS.
- Broad and extensive knowledge of the software development process and its technologies.
- Knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns as well as understanding of various coding methods and computer languages.
- Data modeling and database design experience.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Strong knowledge of Agile Methodologies and SDLC practices.
- Familiarity with Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc).
- Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Problem/Risk Management
- Effective liaison leading technical development teams.
- Strong facilitation skills to effectively lead discussions across multiple groups.
- Must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
- Oral and written communication skills including presentation to management.
- Must be eligible to obtain a sensitive clearance – Position of Public Trust – and may be required to obtain a higher security clearance.
- Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
- Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last 5 years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
